Redmi 9 launched in Aug 2020 is successor of Redmi 8, Redmi 9 comes with performance package build for Gaming as well daily use within your budget. Device offers Dual rare camera, 5000mAh battery, rare fingerprint sensor, and MediaTek Helio G35 2.35GHz Quad core processor with 4GB RAM and available in two storage options 64GB & 128GB.

Design:

Redmi 9 comes with plastic back with Matte finish available in three color variants Sporty Orange, Sky Blue, Carbon Black, the device uses plastic frame. The device weighs 194 gms and has 9mm of thickness with curved edges which feels quite comfortable to hold. You can see a little bump of rare camera which is in square shape at upper left side, there are four pockets in square amongst them two pockets are for Dual camera one for flash and one is just an empty pocket. Talking about front side there is 6.53inch IPS LCD display with punch hole in center for selfie camera. Fingerprint sensor is in center at rare side, volume and Lock/Unlock buttons are placed at right side of phone. Redmi 9 is splash proof.

Display:

Redmi 9 comes with 6.53inch IPS LCD HD+ display with capacitive multi-touch touch screen of resolution 720 x 1600 pixels and has density of 269ppi. The bazel-less display has water drop notch and 400nits brightness and has 20:9 aspect ratio. The display gives satisfactory results while playing games and viewing videos.

Performance:

The smartphone is equipped with MediaTek Helio G35 Octa Processor with 2.3GHz clock speed, which runs on MIUI based on Android v10 (Q) operating system. Mobile has 4GB RAM and PowerVR GE8320 graphics card.
