Design:

Redmi Note 9 comes with poly-carbonate back with a little bump of Rare camera as compared to the Redmi note 8, Quad Cameras are placed at center in a square, below quad cam there is fingerprint sensor. LED flash is placed adjacent to that of camera with punch a hole. The mobile has little glossy finish with 8.7mm of thickness and 200gms of weight which gives you a little bulky feeling. Note 9 is available in Pebble Grey, Arctic White, Aqua Green colour variants in India. The mobile is splash proof. About Front side 6.53inch IPS LCD display is provided with a punch hole for selfie camera at upper left corner. Volume buttons and Lock/Unlock button is at right side, where as sim tray is at left side. Sim tray has three slots for two nano sim and one for dedicated microSD card. Type-C port for charging which supports OTG is provided at center bottom and 3.5mm audio jack adjacent to it.

6.53inch (16.59cm) IPS LCD FHD+ multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display with single punch hole at corner for selfie camera, display produces 60Hz of refresh rate. The IPS LCD display of Redmi note 9 has 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution with 395ppi pixel density. Display produces 450nits of brightness which is average. The bezel-less display is protected by Corning Gorilla v5. The refresh rate and FHD+ gives steady usage experience. Punch hole at corner don’t create hurdles while videos, games.

Performance:

Talking about performance, Redmi note 9 is equipped with MediaTek Helio G85 chipset this is first mobile in India to launch with this processor, which comes with Octa Core (2 GHz, Dual core, Cortex A75 + 2 GHz, Hexa Core, Cortex A55) processor, with 64bit Architecture coupled with 4GB RAM and Mali-G52 graphics.
